The Novel and the Anthropocene
This is nice and “Englishy” but very big and unfocused in terms of scale: it’s an intriguing idea to bring the two texts together, but you’ll need to do so in a more focused way. “Religion” and “nature” are very big concepts, as are “social and cultural narrative.” How do you want to link these ideas? Is there a common element of critique of religion? Or of secular rationalism? What is it that links these two texts in a compelling way and makes them fit inside the same interpretive frame?
